[comp.sys.ibm.pc] PC Paintbrush's PCX format

tran@peora.ccur.com (Nhan Tran) (06/03/90)

Does anyone have the data structure of PCX file format. I only know
that the header block is 128 bytes. I don't know the structure of the
header block and how they encode the data.

I really need to find out so if you could tell me, I appreciate very much.

Call ZSoft tech support (voice) at (404) 428-0008. They will send you
(free!) the Technical Reference Manual for PC Paintbrush. This manual (a
pamphlet, really) contains _complete_ information on the PCX format,
including sample C code for reading and writing PCX files. Also included
are the calls for FRIEZE, ZSoft's resident graphics system. To my knowlege,
you do not have to be a registered ZSoft user to get this manual.
