We are having trouble linking a Wyse 150 terminal with a Novell Access Server. Currently, the Server (the host) is connected to the remote (the Wyse) through a crossed connection which is defined by the Netware Access Server. When viewing a session from the host, decimal code 16 and 26 produce the correct result, but the remote screen is cleared. The remote (The Wyse) is set in personality mode PCTERM as required by the Server. We have checked with Wyse and they are convinced that their equipment is performing correctly. The People at Novell explained how to change some of the defaults so that the characters causing problems were sent as something else. This didn't work. If you have any ideas, suggestions, etc. please respond via email. This may include commercial products to alleviate the problem or programming we can do to get around the problem. We have been able to solve some of the problems by using Norton Utilities to edit the program binaries and change the offending characters but can't continue to do this since our software is constantly upgraded.
