I have a hard disk from a original type at that just about died. I thought it was a 10 MB drive, was in the cmos as a type 2, and has the following markings. Computer memories model 6426-S. It has defects on heads 0 & 1 and on cyl 442. The drive type list for type 2 says seagate st225 & sim. Is this the same for the real IBM setup also ? What is the params for this drive ? Anybody have any info or comments on these drives ? Secondly, The motherboard has 512K of memory made up of the stacked memory that IBM used for higher densities for awhile. Can I just pull up to all 4 rows of these paste up jobs and pop in standard 41256's to get 1 MB ? Are there limitations ? Is there any market for these paste up things ? Thanks al
