[comp.sys.ibm.pc] LP Program Wanted

clong@topaz.rutgers.edu (Chris Long) (06/16/90)

I'm looking for a nice linear programming program for a PC-compatible
(a 486, to be exact). Are PD versions available in either C, FORTRAN
or binary format?

I'm aware of tslin25 for the PC, but I can't seem to connect to
chyde.uwasa.fi; is this available elsewhere? Also, I'm aware of
the existence of a very large LP program which was, I believe,
developed at Stanford. Does anyone know which one this is, and
how I can get a copy of it?

We have exchanged email messages about this with the poster (Chris),
but in case someone else is interested, (/pc/ts/)tslin31.arc is
available from Simtel20 and several BBSes (eg 2:515/1 358-0-425966,
also by FidoNet file request). Also, if chyde.uwasa.fi is not
reachable by name, try using its site number 128.214.12.3.
