Distribution: usa Organization: University of Delaware Keywords: I am getting a *Unrecoverable Application Error* everytime I try to run a bigger problem (Windows Paint for example, as oppose to accessories like clock). This happens only when I am in 386 enhanced mode (with himem.sys loaded of course.) Obviously I do have a 386 (Gateway 2000/20Mhz/Phoenix/296N(80m)/4meg) but I just can't get this to work! I do get an error when himem.sys is loaded (a warrning to be exact). It says it can't disable A20 (or something like that.) I tried to use other handle numbers than 1 but no luck. Can it be my memory chips? I tried to create a perm. swap file but it was no help either. bill@vax1.udel.edu -- -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Bill Tsai | bill@vax1.udel.EDU ..@freezer.it.udel.edu University of Delaware | ..@sun.udel.EDU ffo30260@udelvm.bitnet -- -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Bill Tsai | bill@vax1.udel.EDU ..@freezer.it.udel.edu University of Delaware | ..@sun.udel.EDU ffo30260@udelvm.bitnet
