I am using the NCSA Telnet versions 2.2D (with ltlalk driver) and 2.3B and am trying to get it running using a TOPS FlashCard (Software Version 2.1) and the Kinetics FastPath LocalTalk to Ethernet Gateway. We have had no success using the ltalk driver and the FlashCard. The error message displayed is: Could not initialize hardware level network driver Error initializing network or getting configuration file Version 2.2D was received from UIUC in an archive named appletlk.zip. If anyone has gotten Telnet running under this type of configuration, or perhaps knows what I might be doing wrong (perhaps something in the config.tel file?) please respond via e-mail. thanks, -Al papp@topaz.rutgers.edu
