[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Software Reboot Using CPU Reset?

I'm using a Compaq 386 and need to reboot often to establish different
configerations.  A special adapter ROM routine consumes a large amount
of boot time, so I'd like to skip the BIOS power up code.  Int. 19 has
its problems.

Have any of you used the cpu reset function with configeration byte 0Fh
set to 04h (proceed to load DOS from disk)?
