Nethack is a rogue-like adventure game with dungeons and monsters and
magic and....  It is a little difficult to get into, especially if you
are just starting such adventure games.  It is also very big (595+K for
the executable) and requires jut about all the space you can give it,
and then some.  On the other hand, Moria 5.2.x is only 413K, is much
easier to start out with, and is a good jumping-off point for Nethack. 
Nethack can be gotten from netnews.comp.sources.games, while Moria can
be gotten from Kulkukan.berkely.edu.
