Hello ! I am getting a 33Mhz Gateway 2000 (80386) and I wonder if anybody out there has experienced using it with a NEC monitor or any other brand monitor different than the one offered in their standard configuration package. I have heard that their standard configuration monitor is not very good in quality. Thanks, Maria.- ibanez@linc.cis.upenn.edu

Spend the extra $100 to get the NEC 3D monitor. It's worth it. --- John Gordon Internet: gordon@osiris.cso.uiuc.edu #include <disclaimer.h> gordon@cerl.cecer.army.mil #include <clever_saying.h> GEnie: j.gordon14

Since NEC doesn't glue down the convergence rings on the neck of the CRT, they have moved around on the three monitors we have received. Gateway did replace them (we complained within the 30 days) and we are now satisfied. ----- "Lets go kick some Earthling butt!" -- Spaced Invaders quintro!bpdsun1!rmf@lll-winken.llnl.gov uunet!tiamat!quintro!bpdsun1!rmf
