[comp.sys.ibm.pc] 486/33 Where is it!!!

barton@holston.UUCP (Barton A. Fisk) (07/14/90)

Hi,
Does anyone know where the 486/33 machines are?? I know
NCR is supposedly shipping one, however you could probably
buy the Trump tower cheaper.

I heard from Dvorak that Intel was rationing them. Is there
any truth to this? I really would like to see the 486/33
Systempro out soon. Any dates Compaq??? Dvorak said intel
was punishing Compaq. Oh well, boys will be boys.

Byte magazine, May 1990, pp. 131-133, was looking at two of them
(the two first ones?): AST Premium 483/33 and ALR PowerVEISA 486/33.

The article was written by Michael Nadeau, reachable as miken on BIX.
