[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Disable Auto Repeat???

I have a disabled daughter who can use a normal keyboard except for
the auto repeat.  She cannot release the keys quickly enough.
How can I disable this?  What information must I know about the particular
machine in order to do it?  Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
I don't normally read this group ( I will for the next week or so ) and
mail response would be nicer.
