Hi there, I need some help for my problem. I have a 286 IBM AT clon with Dos 3.3. Now I want to install a Dos 4.0 on it. I took the dos 4.0 install diskette to boot the machine, follow the instructions on screen till the step of "take out the install diskette and put into select copy diskette". Then it alsways stops with the error msg of "diskette defective" no matter which blank or formatted 1.44Mb or 730kb 3.5'' diskette I put into the A drive. My A drive doesn't give any other problem.
