I am not a regular reader of this newsgroup, so I don't know if it is appropriate to post experiences with hardware vendors, but here goes anyway.. I had ordered a PC system from General Computer Networking (Woodland Hills, CA) after seeing their ad in Computer Shopper and talking with them on the phone. They seemed knowledgeable and polite so I placed an order and was advised of a shipping date (I requested overnight air shipment). When it didn't arrive, I called and was told it had missed the shipper, but would go the next day. It didn't arrive. Then it was "on the loading dock, ready to ship" but it still didn't show up. On my last call I spoke with "Moses" who claimed to be the owner/manager who said it was waiting for an incorrectly ordered part. When I pointed out the lies I had been told, he became very abusive and hung up on me with the comment "I don't need your order". Needless to say he didn't get it either. I would advise anyone thinking of purchasing from this organization to think again. I don't mind if a company has problems and can't ship immediately, but I object to being lied to and abused on the phone. Steer clear of them. The above comments are my personal views and in no way reflect the opionions or policies of my employer. Bob Atkins
