the system, as implemented by the software support group of Pepperidge Farms, works something like this: all of the good guys are white and vanilla all of the bad guys are black and chocolate. But, and this is a very big but ..... what about Lando Kalrissian, the only good guy whose skin color is black? Well, PF decided that inclusion of such a datum would crash the system, so they've decided that they will act as though LR didn't exist. And that is why, boys and girls, there are no black white vanilla cookies bearing a likeness of our favorite token black STAR WARS actor. Alex Stein Brown University

The explanation that I have heard all my life for the cookie system is quite simple and VERY ancient: Human beings are approximately 90% visual creatures (no funny jokes, I mean that about 90% of the sensory input that they rely on in everyday life is of a visual nature).
