Hi Everybody, We have an IBM PS/2 Model 60 running as a file server for an IBM Token-Ring Network. After the network has started, there is only ~100K RAM left and virtual no application can be loaded. This server, however, has 8 Mb of expanded memory in it. I wonder if it is possible for me to startup Microsoft Windows (2.11 or 3.0) and startup the network under Windows so that I can address all 8 Mb of expanded memory by swapping the network software in and out all the time. I have a feeling that it cannot be done based on my previous experience with IBM products (no offence intended). Does anybody ever try something similar (i.e. starting up any network under Windows) and make it work? Any help/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
