I'm trying to install a Mountain Hardcard (30Mb) in a 6300 which already has a 10Mb factory disk. The hardcard is coming from another 6300 (where it was the only hard drive), so I know it's compatible in principle. Unfortunately, I've lost its documentation, and don't know how to set switches so that both the 10 and the 30 will be found. The 10M drive shares a controller card with the floppy (or so it seems), which card has dip switches that might be the culprits. If I simply plug in the hardcard, it gets the boot up tickle (I can tell by feeling it), but then is then diagnosed as "not ready". The internal is not even tickled. Anybody know what switch settings I need to make this work? Anybody have Mountain hardcard installation instructions they can copy and snailmail to me? Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks! Steve
