MicroSoft has released a "Compilers Utility" Disk which has a program that will convert TC++ *.obj files to the windows format. Has anyone tried this? Dave

Has > anyone tried this? > That is not what I know the "Compilers Utility" Disk to be. Unless there is a second one. The said disk simply has a few utilities like LINK, IMPLIB, MAKE etc. etc. This is so that you are not forced to buy Microsoft C in order to get the segment executable linker to do Windows development. You, however, still need to get a compiler that generates code with the proper Windows prologue (sp ??). As far as I know, Borland's compilers are not capable of doing this. So they are out of Windows; rumors have it that Borland is trying to get one out (but these are only rumors), So, for now, you have two choices (as far as I know), Microsoft C (which includes Glokenspiel (sp ??)) and Zortech C++.
