When I saw that there was going to be a new Pink Panther movie, I thought that they were going to far by trying to continue the series without Peter Sellers. I was wrong. "The Curse of the Pink Panther" is an entertaining movie. There's not much of a plot, but the strength of the Pink Panther series has always been the hilarious bumbling of Sellers. Ted Wass puts in a strong performance as an (equally bumbling) American police officer assigned to find the missing (Chief) Inspector Clouseau. There is also an amusing way of resolving the disappearance of Clouseau. On the other hand, Wass' character is not nearly so strong as Sellers'. Clouseau was an incredibly powerful character and nothing in "The Curse of the Pink Panther" can match it. This is just one of the many things we lost when Peter Sellers died. Still, the movie is well done and is worth seeing. Bob Stewart, BTL Naperville
