I am a PC novice. With that said: I currently have a project where I have to network 3 IBM compatible PCs so thay can do file-sharing. I can not dedicate one PC to be a server, though I would like to have a central server that will do other work reasonably. 1. What do people recommend for Ethernet-based PC file-sharing systems? 2. What is the most popular Ethernet-based PC file-sharing system industry-wide, and who gives the best support? -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Bill Roth, University of Wisconsin Physical Sciences Laboratory email: bill@pslu1.psl.wisc.edu bill@wiscpsl.bitnet / (608)-873-6651

LANtastic from Artisoft has been widely reviewed and praised. For reviews of peer-to-peer LANs, see the following. 2/12/90 PC Week 5/29/90 PC Magazine 6/90 Byte
