Some machines have an LED display to indicate the speed it is operating at. Hitting the Turbo button will toggle between, say, 33 MHz and 8 MHz. You may also be able to control the speed by hitting CTRL-ALT-<keypad +> or <keypad ->, thus giving you a range of speeds to set your CPU to. I'd suggest using some utility to measure the speed of your CPU as you play with the speeds. KJB.
