We went to see Metalstorm last weekend. In a nutshell, it's a 3-d sci-fi with scenes swiped from Dark Crystal, Star Wars, etc. The 3-d gave me a eyeache which lasted at least an hour. And at 70 minutes, I felt like "this can't be the end already!" The 3-d wasn't that hot - I counted only 4 places where it made a noticeably effective impact. (I guess I got spoiled by the excellent 3-d in the Kodak exhibit at EPCOT before seeing any 3-d movies.) If you can see it for $.80, fine; else, spend your movie $ elsewhere. Amy Heidner fluke!amyh

I agree - Metalstorm is the pits. Took my father and my 8-year old along when I went. Mine: Second worst movie ever - but the worst was 1990 The Bronx which was so incredibly bad it was fun .... Metalstorm wasn't. My Dad's: I thought 3D would have gotten BETTER in 20+ years My Son's: Pretty good, but my eye's hurt ..... (It should be noted that my son has NEVER given a bad review of a movie I have taken him to ..... I suspect he doesn't want to risk termination of movie-going )
