Hi everyone. I own an old (1984 vintage) Mouse Systems mouse that uses an optical pickup and special silver mouse pad. It came with 2 software disks with a MSMOUSE.COM and MSMOUSE.SYS mouse driver. My problem is that I would very much like to obtain an updated version of the MSMOUSE driver. I HAVE written a letter to Mouse Systems Corporation, which has been ignored. (damn them!) I know the mouse is hardware compatible with a current Mouse Systems Mouse, because if I run setup on Windows3 and select the mouse systems mouse I can use it without the msmouse.com program loaded. If anyone has a new Mouse Systems mouse, I would greatly appreciate you mailing me the uuencoded drivers. In addition, if anyone has the name of the tech support manager at Mouse Systems, along with his/her address, I would appreciate that as well. (I work at a large software manufacturer and we would NEVER ignore a letter from one of our customers, at least intentionally) Please reply by mail as I don't have ftp access and I don't read this group regularly. tedm@agora.rain.com

I also have a "vintage" Mouse Systems Bus Mouse at home on my 386/25.
To get the latest drivers you can call Mouse Systems at 415-656-1117.
There is a charge for the latest version. However they have a BBS where
you can download the next to latest version for free. BBS 415-683-0617.
