I have a file with a .TD0 extension that appears to be a backup format of some kind when I examine it. I resort to posting because the data within is very important to us, and I have exhausted all other means at my disposal. Does anyone know if this is disk backup file extension and, if so, what program is necessary to "extract" it? Thanks mea1@engr,uark.edu mamos@uafhp.uark.edu

Digging back into the dank recesses of my mind, I seem to recall this is a file created by TELEDISK, a program that makes a file copy of a disk (neat for taking a system disk and sending it via email, etc.). TELEDISK allows compression of the file to save space, as well as some other nice features (like providing EXACT copies of a disk that has had altered sectors imposed as a copy-protection scheme). Works with MS-DOS only, as far as I can tell. There's a copy of this on simtel under the name TELED212.ZIP in the DSKUTL directory. If you don't have access to ftp, let me know and I'll uuencode it and send it your way. -- halcyon!ralphs@seattleu.edu The 23:00 News and Mail Service - +1 206 292 9048 - Seattle, WA USA +++ A Waffle Iron, Model 1.64 +++
