I am thinking about purchasing another computer for home use, and was wondering if the following is possible using existing software and./or hardware: A hard-wired connection, preferably between the parallel ports, of the PCs, through which each PC can access the other's hard drive as if it were its own (i.e., transparently, like a Novell networked drive). I am aware of programs like X-Link, FastLynx, LapLink etc that allow you to share files via the serial and/or parallel ports, but none of these are transparent. Please reply via e-mail or by posting; I will summarize if there is interest. -- __________________________________________________________________________ Andrew J.
