[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Desqview "autoexec"?

wolf@cbnewsh.att.com (thomas.wolf) (05/01/91)

I would like to auto-start a couple of programs when Desqview powers up
(mainly a couple dos sessions, an editor, etc.) and I heard that there
is a file that can do this. Of course, there isn't a peep about such a file
in the documentation. Can someone help?

Thanks in advance,
Tom

Of course, there *is*. Look in the index of the manual under 'scripts'.
My manual shows 25 'subtopics' under this one.

Sure there is -- look in the chapter on DV's Learn feature,
esp. the section about Start-up scripts.

Thanks everyone for responding to my request. After getting the responses
I went back and looked through the manual and, sure enough, there is a tiny
section devoted to the '!'-style startup scripts. I don't know how I could
have missed it :-)

Thanks again,
Tom
