I have a micropolis 1325T (ST-506 interface) which I am trying to get running on a Tandy 6000. I keep getting a "Drive Not Ready" diagnostic when I try to format it. I doubt I have a controller problem (but possible) and my suspicion is that a component on the drive board has failed. I need either a schematic (or source of) the board that is on the drive or (less desirable) the pin ID of the "Drive Ready" signal. Any help much appreciated! Thanks from Tom "The Old" Mann.

Is the Tandy 6000 an XT or AT class machine? Are ou trying to perform a low level format on the drive (and if not, has this been done already.) If a low level format has been performed, what does FDISK tell you about the partitions of the drive?
