Somebody, on this bboard I think, said something to the effect of,
"If you're a Rodney Dangerfield fan, this movie might be worth seeing."
I am. It's not.
The best parts of "Easy Money" were the previews of coming films: there
is a movie with William Hurt, Jobeth Williams, Mary Kay Place, and a whole
lot of other people, called "The Big Chill", which looks real interesting.
But even more exciting is what's coming for Christmas:
"Clint Eastwood is Dirty Harry in SUDDEN IMPACT"
The clip shows Eastwood squinting down the barrel of his .44 Magnum
revolver ("the world's most powerful handgun") at some off-screen
target (probably some scum-bag kiddie-porn distributor who impales
young babies on the pointy part of the Transamerica building for
laughs) and grinding out the words through clenched teeth, "Go
ahead...make my day." I can't wait!! (So what! So I'm a Dirty Harry
fan. Wanna make somethin' of it, punk?)
