I recently purchased a 6300+ system with a 360K drive. The drive works well in all respects save one. I format a disk it after which the system says 'Format complete' followed by 'Non-DOS disk. Abort Ignore Retry?'. At work we have a 6300+ with a 1.2M drive with the same problem. I'll take my system back since it's still under warranty, but with my small sample of 4 systems with 2 faulty floppy drives, I'd like to know if this is normal and if anyone knows what the problem is (so we can fix the non-warranteed unit at work). Incidentally, the diagnostics work say the floppy drive is just fine. I can format a disk from the diagnostic disk (although when I try to copy anything onto the newly formatted disk, I still get the 'Non-DOS disk' message).
