I typed in the trace device driver that is in the Device Driver Writers'
Guide and it appears to work OK. It's really a handy way to get some
definite status on what's going on while you're running "live" in the
kernel. I'll be glad to shar it up (I did all of the scripts to go with
it too so you can install it from a diskette) and send it to anyone that
wants it. If you want it on diskette, please provide a shipping address
that's suitable for UPS and a contribution sufficient to cover media and
shipping. The only advantage of the diskette is if you just want to use
it and not play with it. Anyone interested should email me and I'll send
my mailing address and/or the shars.
