Since I have seen both these movies in the past week, I thought a comparison and contrast might be in order: F&A cost me $5 downtown, GetOn cost 99 cents on cheap night locally. For the money, I liked GetOn better. F&A was technically great, I suppose, but was long (3 hours) and hardly ever funny. GetOn was funny frequently. Both made good social comments. GetOn had more nudity though not as much as you might expect from its name. As art films go, F&A was top notch. As teenage skin flicks go, GetOn was way above average. The biggest advantage F&A had over GetOn was not being embarrassed at asking for the ticket by name. GetOn was not great by any means, but was usually entertaining and I would have paid at least matinee prices for it. I am not so sure about the $5 plus transportation for F&A. What can you expect from someone who thinks Star Wars is the height of movie making? With apologies to serious cinema fans, Steve Spearman ihnp4!ihopb!spear
