I understand that the DOS-73 board (for the 3b1) is not among the items that
ATT is currently discounting. However, I have seen articles on the net
(where I can't remember) to the effect that the board is available for < $300.
Our local ATT dealer still wants $750 for them.
Does anybody know the scoop on this? Are the boards available from
anybody but ATT or their dealers? Are they available directly from the
manufacturer (Alloy Computer Products, Inc.)? Where is Alloy located?
If anybody has suggestions of places I might call to track down a good
deal I'd appreciate hearing them. I will summarize to the net if I find
any good suppliers.
