[comp.sys.att] letter quality printer for 7300

marc@aplvax.UUCP (Marcus H. Gates) (08/17/87)

I have recently purchased a 7300 and am now in the market for a printer.
My wife has a typing business at home and in order to start doing some of her
work on the computer she would need "typewriter" quality output. The dot-matrix
printers I have seen would not produce good-enough quality output. What printers
can people recommend to use with the 7300?
						Thanks for any pointers.

I dunno if this will fit the bill, but the Epson FX86E has both a draft
mode and a Near Letter Quality mode which comes pretty darn close to
typewriter quality. It also has a number of fonts available and a
graphics mode.
