I have recently acquired a free 6300+ (so I can't look it in the mouth very closely). I want to install a Hercules mono-graphic card because ... well, for various reasons. Apparently, I can do this just fine if I refuse to run UNIX, but that is the OS I prefer, while the work I do under MSDOS requires the Hercules card. When I try to boot UNIX, it hangs, or goes into a reboot cycle when the card is installed. Obviously, the usual screen driver in UNIX cannot handle the Hercules card. Is there a driver for the Hercules card available that I can install? Do I have to have any special (bound to be expensive) AT&T software to do the installation, assuming such a beast exists?
