I did a check for the current version of the catalog at the store and found it had been updated. If the folks at the store are reading this let me say that this is one Unix PC owner that is grateful for you being there. I would like to point out one little problem with "Check Version of CATALOG on shop". It expects cat(1) to be a legal command for uucp. Before too many people waste a half-hour of connect time on the new catalog, here is what's new in it: ADVENTURE Version 1.0 (GAMES.OLD) 08/87 Adventure with a far larger cavern MTOOLS Version 1.2 (UTIL.GEN) 08/87 Full MS-DOS disk handlers. NGREP Version 1.0 (UTIL.GEN) 08/87 New faster grep WORLD Version 1.0 (GAMES.NEW) 08/87 Adventure on an Alien Planet. SE Version 1.0 (EDITORS) 08/87 A screen oriented ed. Some diffs run through patch would seem like a much better approach than having to transfer the whole catalog each time there's a revision.
