"Monty Python Meets Beyond the Fringe"
Saw a little bit of this one a few years back on the Stanford
campus. There were lines outside before the film, everyone expecting
a good Python flick; literally half the auditorium walked out after
the first 15 minutes.

You must not be a real Python fan! This was one of the best movies I
ever saw. Don't you remember the dead parrot skit. That is a
classic!

PLEASE tell me that you're not serious about "Monty Python meets
Beyond the Fringe" being any less than hideous. It was heavily
promoted and shown at MIT (home of many Python freaks) as being
the "New England Premiere." The film committee *BURNED* the film
after showing it (five showings in one night to satisfy the crowd
who hadn't seen it) and having most of every audience walk out.
They warned audiences (after the first) as they went in, but noone
(myself included) could believe that it wouldn't be worth the 75
cents they were charging. It wasn't. You should be paid WELL if
you are ever forced to watch this fiasco.
