Could some one please explain to me why AT&T chose not to support the 360K DS/DD format on the 3B2 that their MS/DOS machines use? I know that the hardware will read that format, it is just the device driver which does not recognize it. There is at least one third party software package which replaces the 3B2 floppy device driver with a custom version which does the trick. My question is, Why didn't AT&T see the need for this?? -- Metro T. Sauper, Jr. Assessment Systems, Inc.
