[comp.sys.att] uucp question

ptmcd@dalcsug.UUCP (10/27/87)

Is this a bug or oversight:

In the shell script uudemon.hr, the last thing that is done is
an uulog with no options. Doing this changes the permissions on
LOGFILE to -rw-rw-rw-. I don't like the idea of users being able
to zero this file. Also, everytime the /usr/lib/uucp/SEQF file is
updated (I assume by uux) its permissions do the same. Can this be
fixed easily? What can I do to keep the permissions -rw-r--r-- and
	-rw-r-----.
					Thanks,
