Today just about 45 minutes ago, I was bitten again by the slowdown bug. After jotting the message down, I ran through the following hardware tests: processor memory & parity hard disk real tiem clock Nothing out of the ordinary was reported by the diagnostics. I tried doing a ps -fe in the slowdown, but alas, the system crashed before ps -fe could do its thing. I don't know for sure what pid 82 was. Here is the grizly message; note there wasn't anything recorded in /usr/adm/unix.log: type = 0x3, pid = 82, pc = 0x13EF6, rx = 0x2600, p = 0x4A340 GSR = DD00, BSR0 = FC34, BSR1 = 0, PHYSPF = 30 D0=2FF0001, D1=FFFF, D2=704, D3=70036 D4=FFFFFC43, D5=FFFF0000, D6=DD00, D7=430000 A0=59E8C, A1=24FEC, A2=59E8C, A3=2FF18FF A4=70A54, A5=3000, A6=7078A, A7=2FFE14 panic: addr fault in kernel Please record panic message. Press hardware reset to reboot. Any ideas out there on what it is?
