I haven't used one myself, but I've recommended them to other people (that's part of my job). Anyway : It comes with drivers to make it compatible with the Microsoft mouse. Sometimes (depending upon where you buy it from) it comes with drivers to let it replace the arrow keys on your keyboard for those packages that don't support mice. The serial version comes with a DB9, but it is *NOT* plug compatible with the port on AT&T 301 and 302 keyboards. Rumor had it a while ago that if you made your own DB9 connector and moved some of the pins around it would work off the 301/302 keyboard port. It does come with a DB9 to DB25 adaptor cable so you can plug it into the serial port. It will function as stated on a 6300 or other IBM compatible (we have them attached to 6300's and Zenith 159's).
