I just tried setting up gnuchess on the 3b1, and it doesn't seem to work quite right. The first few moves will go fine, and then the time counter on the human side will start counting up, with the curser by the counter, and the working icon flashing on and off. If you try and type anything, the working icon stays on and the process just keeps running, but doesn't let yopu do anything. I have to go to another window and kill the processes associated with that window. Does anyone have gnuchess up and running correctly. The copy I have is from comp.sources.games. Are there any unix-pc changes that need to be made? It contains some curses calls not in the tam library, so I compiled it using the curses library and without the shared library. Any ideas out there? Avi Feldblum ayf@pruxe.att.com {ihnp4, mtune, rutgers!moss}!pruxe!ayf ayf%prayf.uucp@rutgers.edu rutgers!prayf!ayf
