I'm posting this for a friend who has no access to netnews. I hope this
is the right newsgroup... He is looking for who to contact to obtain
this program, and receive updates to the database. He does not need the
source code. He has tried AT&T marketing, with no luck. Please reply

Trying to track down the distribution source for a program
that is copyrighted by AT&T in 1986. It has recently appeared
on Detroit area MS/PC-DOS BBS's under the names: ZIPPHONE and
ZP. The program and it's data files are useful for translating
zipcodes/areacodes/exchanges in a variety of permutations.
Interested in learning if editions beyond v1.2 exist ... and
what the source of the distribution might be! It is not the
effort of a casual programmer as it seems to use bcd for improved
