[comp.sys.att] WANTED: AT&T PC 6300 box

kathy@bakerst.UUCP (Kathy Vincent) (05/27/88)

Posting for a friend:

He's looking for an AT&T 6300 box. He doesn't care what kind
of disks and/or drives it has - or even whether it has 'em.
Monitor and keyboard are optional. He's just interested in
the basics.

If you have any leads or suggestions, please send email to me.
Thanks.

I have an AT&T 6300 that I have rather outgrown, and would love to
trade in for some kind of OS/2 box.

   Details...

   AT&T 6300 with 640k on motherboard
   NEC V30 CPU
(you can have the original 8086, too)
   AT&T 1.43 BIOS ROMs
EGA upgrade kit (allows *complete* EGA compatibility)

Plus 20M Hardcard in one of the slots
5.25", 360k floppy drive (original equipment)
   3.25", 720k floppy drive (Toshiba)
(or the other original equipment 5.25" if you prefer)

AT&T B&W monitor (almost never used; have been using EGA with Multisync)
DataDesk "Turbo 101" (IBM Enhanced style) keyboard
(you can have the original AT&T keyboard {Unix style} too)
   Microsoft mouse

Complete manuals and original packaging for everything.

Bottom line: $1800 or best offer (try me - please :-) ).

   Brad Davis

P.S. I've got a bunch of other stuff to go with it (Disk-copier board,
Paradise EGA480 card, game card & joysticks, modem, *large* quantities
of games and misc software) that I'd planned on keeping but might be
   negotiable.
