Sonofagun! I didn't even know Japanese 16th century artists *did* ani- mation. In any case, Bakshi wasn't the first contemporary western animator to do so, unless a) Disney wasn't western or b) Disnay wasn't contemporary. Charlie Martin ...!duke!crm
