Hi everybody, Those of you experiencing problems with your EPORTS cards will be happy to know that the fix version 1.2 is available from the Hotline (probably to those with support contracts). One of my customers (with a 3B2/600 with a half dozen of these cards) was one of the early recipients of this fix, and it seems to be solving the major problems with ports locking up, going out of service, and general flakyness. We have been working with AT&T on this for a couple of months, and it is apparent that they have made a *tremendous* effort to get these difficulties resolved and make their customers happy. Particular kudus go to the folks in Lisle (Hi Rick!) who made personal efforts to follow through on this when my customer was ready to jump off the Bay Bridge (he didn't) Steve -- Steve Friedl V-Systems, Inc. I received (via uucp) and installed this patch yesterday, and so far it seems to be working well. There were some problems in the execme script (it tries to use the old "/dev/ifdsk06" instead of "/dev/dsk/c0d0s6"), but all in all, I was impressed with the hotline's willingness to address the problem and fix it quickly, rather than telling me "You must have configured it wrong." -- Denny Page Martha, the Clones are loose again!
