Subject: Devtools

Is it permissible to post a devtools guide (or an annotated version)?

Or is it possible that AT&T's position is that those authorized to have
devtools already have all the information needed?

Thanks.

Hey folks,

    The old "devtools" package has been rereleased as "idtools",
and it's included in the _AT&T 3B2 Maintenance Reference Manual_.
This book has all the part numbers for the various 3B2 machines,
how to rip apart your machine, troubleshooting, etc. plus the
idtools disk. This is a bootable floppy that lets you do lots of
things including format your own internal hard drive for a 3B2;
you can buy a 72Mb Micropolis disk for $700 and drop it right in
your machine.

     This manual is # 305-395, and you can order it from the AT&T
Customer Information Center (CiC) at +1 800 432 6600.  I checked
with them last week and I think the price was around $40 with
availability now.

     Steve
