IBM is HAL shifted +1, right ??? An accedent, you say ??? No, its just a simple example of what the science of numerology could have told you. Why, Dr. Matrix would smile as you pointed this out to him and probably reply... "You are quite correct. Also, it is quite likely that he didn't realize this. There are also two other rotations of IBM that yeald valid words, although none would make so nice a name as HAL (Can anyone find these?)." With tongue in cheek, ..ihuxo!ruffwork P.S. there is also one computer jargon work that is almost a rotation of IBM...(What is it?) P.P.S. 2001 isn't THE BEST movie of all time (but a better one doesn't come to mind at the moment...).
