Hi, all, and thanks again to all you who helped me figure out what machine I scrounged from our hardware shop. Now I'm looking for a bit of software. Does anyone have a kermit executable for the 7300/3b1, running v2.00 Unix? I can't get columbia to answer over ftp, don't know why. I can get simtel20.arpa, but I didn't notice kermit for this 3b1 there. An email copy would be great, or I'd be happy to send a disk and return postage to someone if you'd put it on the disk for me. Instructions would help too -- I have only the v2.00 os, no "development package" (or whatever it's called that has the cc in it), almost no documentation for what I do have. The phone manager appears to be a partial vt-100 and is buggy (it self-suspends occasionally), cu has some built-in delay at 9600 bps (thanks, Janet, I have it set up to work -- it's just _slow_). (Don't advise me to upgrade to v3.51, it's not my money or hardware and there's no chance the department will invest.)
