Our lab has a 3B2/400 we'd like to connect to our Ethernet. We have a 3BNet card for it, but (as you know) it doesn't come with TCP/IP. I called an AT&T dealer in the area and was quoted $4500 for the software. That's a bit steep, so I'm looking for some alternatives. I'd like to hear from anyone who is presently running TCP/IP on their 3BNet card who can fill in a few details for me, and perhaps provide me with a lead or two on third-party software. By the way, all: is AT&T's TCP/IP Streams-based? Thanks to all in advance. Please email responses. I believe you can get TCP/IP drivers for the 3B2 from either Wollongong or Lachman Associates. Sorry, no phone numbers. >By the way, all: is AT&T's TCP/IP Streams-based? The latest driver (which runs under SVR3.x) is Streams-based. Eduardo Krell AT&T Bell Laboratories, Murray Hill, NJ UUCP: {att, decvax, ucbvax}!ulysses!ekrell Internet: ekrell@ulysses.att.com

Sorry, no phone numbers. Phone Number for Lachman Associates is: 1-800-LAI-UNIX. The TCP/IP they have is not for sale to the general public, only to OEMs though. It is a quite robust TCP from the implementations I have seen. Don't have a number for Wollengong.
