Re: Richard Foulk's suggestion to use an adapter card for HDs ... Most such cards (e.g. Adaptec 4000A, 4070, etc.) operate "in reverse" from what you suggest. What they do is convert "older" drives (such as St506/412 MFM, RLL, ESDI, SMD, etc.) to operate on a SCSI bus. The UNIXpc is "putting out" ST506 MFM signals and expects a comparable HD.
