I'm having trouble running layers on a 3b2 310 with version 3.1 of the OS. I have a 5620 connected as /dev/console. It runs the stand-alone demos fine, but won't start layers. When I type: % layers -f file -s 2>stats the screen blanks and then hangs. Fortunately, break seems to get me back to unix, where the stats file contains the error message: /usr/dmd/bin/layers - error - not connected to a tty device /dev/console: Not a typewriter Any hints? I have a feeling it's a silly error of some sort... ====== Alberto Segre Assistant Professor Cornell University Department of Computer Science Upson Hall Ithaca, NY 14853-7501 Tel.
